The Castelgandolfo Golf Club is a 72 par, 18 hole, 6205 metre golf course designed by Sir Robert Trent Jones inside a volcanic crater. Offering a host of stimulating obstacles such as bunkers, natural lakes and a thousand other traps such as age-old olive trees, pine and oak trees, expertly included in the layout to enrich your game experience.
Hole 4 is included on the list of the best 150 holes in the World.

The volcanic crater was once a lake, but engineers of Ancient Rome drained is with a network of trench ducts that are still in use even today, part of a Roman wall can in fact be seen in the cinema room.
