Eremo Tuscolano
Splendid vineyards on the side of the Tusculum (Monte Porzio Municipality) where there was once an ancient Necropolis. Historic land owned by the Camaldolese Monks (hermits secluded in their Monte Corona convent, detached from the vineyards as their order strictly requires). Now run by the Azienda Agricola Valle Vermiglia headed by Mario Masini, (nephew of the Frascati Wine Consortium's founder Pietro Campilli - both ex Government ministers) who has injected a new verve into the Winery. Fine wines and oodles of history. Winner of the 3 Bicchieri award 2015.
